The summer is upon us, most machinery has been serviced and is busy in work. those of you who neglected to get your machines serviced out of season may be suffering from poor performance or even no performance at all if your machines break down. Many people believe that getting a repair done at this time of year will be difficult, but in fact the summer is our quietest time in the workshop so dont be afraid to bring in you poorly equipment, you won't be without it for long.
We are, of course, busy with sales of new equipment at this time of year. many people have started the year with their old equipment, but as the growth gets faster so the machines have to work harder, so now is the time to think about changing your mower or tractor.
The grassy banks and corners of the larger gardens present a problem. Many are still being tackled with shears or lightweight electric strimmers. Such equipment is rarely up to the task whereas a petrol powered brushcuter will make the task much easier. Don't be tempted to by an economy model from a national outlet or shed store, they seldom work well or start easily. it is much better in the long run to buy a quality machine from a specialist independant machinery supplier such as ourselves, they will work better, start easily and last for years.
