The Tanaka TBC2390 is the replacement for the old model TBC240S and brand new for the 2017 season. The Tanaka TBC2390 is lighter than the old TBC240s with a better quality, more economical engine.
This high-grade Japanese-engineered straight-shaft brushcutter offers the sort of build-quality and cutting-performance to suit the needs of the more demanding domestic gardener.
The Tanaka TBC 2390 brushcutter is driven by a powerful 23.9c two-stroke engine and power transmitted to the cutter-head by a solid steel drive-shaft that is mounted-on ball-bearings. This optimises torque delivery, and extends the machine's working-life.
A joy to work with, the ultra-lightweight (3.9kg)Tanaka TBC 2390 brushcutter is supplied with a comfortable single loop shoulderstrap. The compact ‘loop'-handle means you'll have no trouble operating in tight spaces.
The TBC2390 is covered by Tanaka's usual 5 year warranty (subject to servicing)
The Tanaka TBC 2390 can easily be turned into a hedgetrimmer (TPH-200) or power-pruner (TPS-200). Extension poles are also available.
These machines requires 2 stroke fuel. The traditional way of making this fuel is to buy unleaded petrol and mix high quality 2 stroke oil at a ratio of 50:1.
However, standard pump petrol now contains Ethanol which causes the petrol to deteriorate rapidly causing starting and running problems.
A much better solution is to buy our Aspen 2 fuel, which is pre mixed with the oil and has a shelf life of up to 5 years. This fuel is better for the machine, better for the environment and better for your health.
