The Stiga Twinclip 950e mower features a double edged blade with 4 cutting faces. The leading edge of the blade makes the first cut; then second part of the blade cuts an additional 19mm, the cuttings are cut and re cut through the blades as they are blown into the collector resulting in a much better fill, and when mulching, the blade helps the machine to leave a finely mulched finish.
This self-propelled mulching lawnmower is fitted with a 2200 watt 48 volt heavy duty electrc motor powered by 2 of the range topping 7.5 Ah 48 volt 700 series battery wired in series to provide a massive 96Volts. Batteries and charger are not included. A heavy duty electric motor transmission with variable forward speed is controlled from the handle bar mounted speed lever.
The robust hybrid galavanised steel/aluminium chassis and the 48cm 19" deck features a single single lever providing 7 cutting height positions ranging from 22 to 77mm.
This mower can be used to collect, rear discharge or even mulch your lawn and when finished, the quick fold handles can be used to reduce storage space
Mulching is by far the easiest way to cut your grass and the innovative blade and deck design also makes the lawnmower quieter. The Stiga multiclip system keeps cutting the grass into tiny pieces that simply wilt away, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. Mulching enables you to cut the grass about 30% faster compared to a collecting mower.
The Twinclip 950 SQ AE lawnmower comes complete with a mulching kit facility and is supported by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty, limited to 90 Days for professional use. The 48cm/19in cutting width makes this great combi mower suitable for moderate size garden.
Battery Run Times
The quoting of battery run times between manufacturers varies greatly, with some brands 'over selling' themselves. We like to be totally honest and quote the worse case scenario.
This mower, when fitted with two 5Ah batteries will give a minimum cutting time of 25 minutes in quite dense grass, but in reality lawns are often cut more frequently which lessens the load on the motor and reduces power consumption.
Most of our customers are reporting run times of between 45minutes and 60 minutes on a single charge in light load situations. This can be extended by 50% with two 7.5 Ah batteries
