The Mountfield 1328H Compact Rider is the perfect ride-on mower for smaller areas. It is easy and fun to use, beats walking behind a mower any day!

It is powered by a 352cc Mountfield Series 7050 OHV electric  start engine and driven by a hand operated hydrostataic transmission.

The 72cm (28")  working width cutter deck has 7 heights of cut from 30mm to 80mm. The cut grass is discharged efficiently into a large 170 litre capacity rear mounted collector, which can be emptied from the driving seat.

An optional mulching kit is available, so when conditions are suitable you can eliminate grass collection and recycle the clippings, which will save you time and return valuable nutrients to the soil.

Covered by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty, the Mountfield 1328H is suitable for smaller gardens up to 1 acre. Optional mulch plug available. No tow bar is available for this machine

The engine of this machine requires SAE10w30 oil. The engine will be filled prior to delivery, but subsequent oil changes will require 1.5  litres of oil. We suggest that a first oil change is carried out at roughly 10 hours use, then on an annual basis.

We would also suggest that an annual service is carried out.

The engine is designed to run on standard unleaded fuel, but please be aware that this fuel will go stale very quickly so it is best to use fuel that is less than 60 days old or engine problems can occur.

We recommend the use of ASPEN 4 fuel as it will last indefinitely without going stale, so peak performance and starting is always guaranteed. ASPEN 4 is however more expensive than standard petrol and can be purchased in sealed 5 litre cans from ourselves at the Colaton Raleigh shop.
