The Stiga Tornado 2108HW lawn tractor is a sturdy compact tractor with a large 108cm deck, offering the perfect solution for those who do not wish to collect grass clippings. In long grass, with  the side discharge chute in place the grass is neatly cut and spread and can be left to wilt naturally. For areas that are being mown on a more often the multiclip (mulch) function cuts and re-cuts the grass into small particles that disappear into growing grass returning valuable nutrients to the soil.

Mulching is a great feature and saves so much time that cutting the lawn can be more than 30% quicker as there is no need to stop to empty clippings. This also results in a good fuel saving. You may well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!”  Mulched clippings are blown down into the stems of growing grass and are not noticeable, provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting.

The twin cylinder Stiga ST550 586cc 10.8kw engine powers the Tornado via hydrostatic transmission. The foot control enables seamless changes between forward and reverse drive, make it a highly manoeuvrable machine. It is fitted with a 108cm/42" double bladed cutter deck engaged via an electric clutch, easy to operate side discharge or mulch options and a tow bar. This model has a 3 year manufacturer's warranty and with 7 heights of cut, from 25-80mm is suitable for lawns or paddocks. Recommended for lawns of up to 2.5 acres.
